Geiranger - Joutunheimen er en flott kjøretur. Dere må bare håpe på bra vær... Har selv vokst opp på Sunnmøre, og det kan være rimelig grått og trist i regn der skyene gjemmer alt over 500 meter.

For en ukes tid siden kjørte jeg faktisk fra Sunnmøre (litt sørvest for Geiranger) over Jotunheimen til Oslo.
Kan på det sterkeste anbefale Geiranger - Hellesylt - Norangsdalen - Øye (flott gammelt hotell der) - Sæbø (ferge over norges flotteste fjord!) - Volda -(E39 retning Bergen)- Skei (evt avstikker til Jølster) - Lærdal - Sogndal - Turtagrø (nok et flott hotell (i Jotunheimen)) - Tindevegen (bomvei over fjellet) - Årdal - Tyin (her MÅ man kjøre innom Eidsbugarden (langt inne i Jotunheimen!!) , også et fantastisk hotell!) (går en rufsete (behagelig i våre biler...) grusvei enda lenger inn til Koldedalen. Flott for telting og fjellturer!) - og til slutt E16 fra Tyin til Oslo.

Flotte turmuligheter (spesielt om man liker spisse fjelltopper) flere steder langs ruten, og meget gode overnattingssteder på veien, både fine hoteller og camping!

Mer garasjeaktivitet...
På side 7 i garasjen la jeg inn et par bilder fra bygging av en skuffeseksjon bak i doningen. Har sagd og skrudd litt videre, og skuffene har tatt form. Ble til at jeg gikk for to skuffer i stedet for en stor, noe som også gjør at jeg fikk plass til en avstivning av konstruksjonen "mellom" skuffene (se side 7). Den minste skuffen er tilpasset slik at den kan åpnes ut den "lille" bakdøren. Greit å slippe å svinge ut reservehjulet og åpne dør nr.2 hver gang man skal ha noe i skuffen...

Skremt av "porøsiteten" til MDF'en ble disse lagd av noe 16 mm kryssfiner jeg hadde liggende. Virker betydelig mer solid. Ekspansjonsbeslagene blir i første runde droppet til fordel for "gli-lister" av hard-tre (eik). Blir spennende å se hvordan det funker med litt KG oppi..

Faktisk har de egentlig stått på plass en hel stund, men jeg har ennå ikke fått montert skuffefrontene i påvente av at jeg skulle snuble over noen stilige håndtak/lås. Har sett bilder av noen fine eksemplar på nett, men har så langt ikke funnet noen i Oslo-området eller i Vestlandsbygda.

Noen som har ideer til hvor jeg kan få tak i håndtak/lås som dette (se bilde under (fant på nett..)) ?? Er et poeng at det er håndtak og lås i samme "enhet".

Endelig er gelbatteriet på plass! Sveiste sammen en holder på gulvet bak førerstolen. Regner med at jeg kler inn batteriet med litt kryssfiner for syns skyld, og for å beskytte polene. Tenker også at denne blir litt høyere enn selve batteriet, og at den også skal kunne skjule diverse kabling og hovedsikringer.

Begynte også på en holder til et 6kg pulverapparat. Må pønske ut en smart løsning som holder apparatet fast i tilfelle velt/rulling, men som likevel skal kunne løses ut på en enkel og "panikk-sikker" måte. Tips, noen ???

Og så var det bare å vente på at batteriisolatoren skal dukke opp i posten så jeg får koblet sammen herligheten...

Bare et lite tips med slokker, bruker du dette aperatet til å slokke noe i / på bilen , så er nesten alt ødelagt etterpå. kjøp deg et skum aperat i tillegg, da kan du faktisk bruke bilen etterpå om du er litt uheldig. Pulver er et helvete, men er det vinter har en muligens ikke så mye valg, men prøv for alt å ungå bruke pulver.
Bruk monterings braket som er til disse aperatene , husk å lage infestningen enkel å opne.

Stemmer nok at pulver er noe forb.. dritt å rydde opp i, og at det er "nesten" like bra å la bilen brenne.
Men er jeg i gokk og det er LANG til folk, så må jeg være sikker på at jeg har kapasitet og evne til å slukke. Koste hva det koste vil...

Og så har det jo vært den lille detaljen om at skum fryser når det blir for kaldt. MEN! Jeg søkte litt rundt på nettet nå, og jeg fant faktisk et 2 liter skum apparat som tåler -20!

Meget interessant. Hadde i alle tilfelle tenkt meg et slukker nr.2 for å montere bak i "camping-området" bak bilen (der takteltet og annexet kommer).
