Litt pes i shippingbransjen om dagen, kan man si.... Ikke akkurat last i overflod, så det er bare å handle biler folkens!!

Fiks en god pris på frakt så ordner vi en kontainer med dekk og felger. har klarsignal til det, og nå har jeg en ryddig kar som kan ordne ting der borte også.
er drrit lei å måtte si nei hele tiden , til de som vil ha dekk.

Jeg henter en del plater i morgen så er det i orden, lit sent å ringe bikenslagern nå, men kjører innom i morgen. så har vi plater, pleier ikke koste stort dette.

Gøteborg er jo ikke noe problem, har du et pris anslag på bil dit da???
Vi har forøvrig 40% på listeprisen til nye BF nå og får det samme på nye G/Y, men dere må få et bestilings nr fra meg på det.
Da regner jeg med prisene begynner bli riktige.

Greia er at båtene går direkte mellom New York/Florida og Rotterdam/Bremen. Sjelden at de går direkte til Gøteborg, og da må bilene losses og settes på en feederbåt som går videre. Dette medfører fort litt ekstra kostnad.

Kostnad kommer litt an på.. Jeg skal se om jeg kan finne en formell røverpris for nissan4x4 fra US east cost til Bremen/Rotterdam. Dersom jeg som ansatt skal ta over en bil, snakker vi om kostpris (spes havneavgifter og slikt rusk), og det er vel et par tusen (kommer litt an på det også... hvor ofte, hvor mange, hvem som organiserer overfarten, etc..).

Og ellers ble jeg lovet kostnadsoverslag fra US på containerfrakt på tirsdag over helgen. Dette er absolutt den minst arbeidsintensive løsningen for oss, da varene blir levert på et av havnelagerene i Oslo (eller en annen stor havn langs kysten).

Hm..
Fikk akkurat inn et tilbud på container frakt fra NY til Oslo. Synes ikke det var spesielt bra tilbud. ca 18-19000,- levert på kaia i Oslo, og da er ikke last forsikret, og eksportfortolling i Statene kommer i tillegg (100USD på leverandør). Nå kjenner jeg ikke mye til container-frakt bransjen, men synes dette hørtes relativt bratt ut...

Noen som har erfaring med hvor mange hjulsett man får inn i en slik container? 10-12-14-16? Om det er 1500 NOK per hjulsett er det jo seff overkommelig...

Men tror jeg vil sjekke litt til.

Vi trenger 2 store kotainere i Tønsberg, så blir det billigere kjøpe Kotainerne der nede , for transporten kan vi vurdere det.

Har hatt en lufttank liggende en stund i påvente av tid og sted (med sveiseapparat), og på en liten ferietur over til lillebrors verksted på Vestlandet har jeg omsider fått lurt den på plass. I hvert fall nesten...

En Warn 2,5 gal ble innkjøpt for å hjelpe SLI kompressoren (også Warn) i nødne stunder, og størrelsen var nøye oppmålt slik at den skulle passe inn mellom rammen og kanalen rett bak opphenget til radiusarmene. Trangt som f.. men det gikk på et vis. Opprinnelig plan var å sende et par bolter gjennom gulvet i kupeen, samt bruke en eller to gjennomføring(er) som finnes fra før. Men etter litt frem og tilbake og vibrasjonsvurderinger ble dette skrinlagt til fordel for en montering på festene til "råkkslaideren". Skal teste litt for å se om tanken "føles" stor nok, før jeg bestemmer meg for om det blir en tilsvarende også på andre siden av bilen. Der sitter originalt en boks med noen ledninger i, men denne regner jeg med kan flyttes. Noen som vet hva det er???

Festene på tanken ble modifisert (kortet inn) for å ikke komme under laveste punkt på slider'en, samt at et punkt for drenering kommer helt i bunnen av tanken. (bilde tatt før sliping og rustbeskyttelse, ja...)

En liten nedtur kom da jeg oppdaget en aldri så liten logisk brist i monteringen... Tanken festes selvfølgelig med bolter for å kunne demonteres ved behov. Problemet var at det siste festet (som ble sveiset på mens tanken var holdt på plass) ble så trangt at jeg ikke får tanken ut igjen! Ser ut som jeg må frem med vinkelsliperen før jeg får koblet til slanger og tettet ubenyttede åpninger.

Blir nok bra til slutt. Får legge inn nytt bilde når jeg har fått orden i sakene og alle koblinger er på plass.

Själv har jag nu fått hem min kompressor och skvettlapper. Så jag hoppas att det kanske kan bli lite mekande nästa helg. Sen efter det så åker jag på tur till Geiranger och Jotunheimen ett par dagar.
