Njaaaeeeeii...... Jeg har ikke body lift'et Patrol, så jeg er ute på litt tynn is her nå....

Har ikke hørt at det er et problem med rattstammen. Det må jo være om den kommer borti noe som sitter fast i rammen (feks stasj som er skrudd fast på den store jernklumpen som lager lyd), men har ikke hørt at dette skal være en issue. Ellers må du passe på alt som har "kontakt" i både ramme og karroseri. Og om man begrenser seg til 1 tomme, er det sikkert endel man slipper å gjøre noe med.. Sjekk i hvert fall:
- lengre bremseslanger
- muligens girstenger
- smart med forlengbart styrestag
- manuelle Patroler har vel en clutch slange som må forlenges
- muligens må fuel påfyllingsrøret forlenges
- og så er det jo den liiiiille detaljen om at støtfangerne sitter i rammen... blir en litt stygg "glippe" om man ikke flytter litt på disse.

Pass også på slangen til stab stag disconnectoren, og sjekk om ABS sensor ledningene er lange nok eller må flyttes litt på.

Mulig jeg har glemt både det ene og det andre....

Det selges jo "komplette" sett for body-lift, men det blir fort litt annerledes om dette skal kombineres med et fjær-løft.

He he ja det skal det jo være å! men er supert med info som dette, for jeg har ikke vært borti så mye heving av bil ennå.. Tror du har fått med det meste da. men som du nevner, det dukker nok opp no skal du se..

Grunnen til at jeg lurte på 2" er at det kan godkjennes, så står det iallefall noe i vognkortet. Kjekt hvis onkel stoppe en langs veien tenkte jeg .. så kunne en montert 4" etterpå .

Men det blir vel grining hos BT uansett hva en gjør.

Har OME 3" som er TÛV godkjent?

Ikke mas i det hele tatt Bil er gøy..

Tror det eneste du får som har TüV papirer er OMEs 2". Men OME 2" heavy duty fjærer sies skal heve nesten 3"

Så hvis en tar ome heavy duty 2" og 1" bodylift så har en nesten 4" altså. Må bli bra med 37" på 12" bred felg..
Men heavy duty blir kanskje veldig stivt?....Ikke for å kverulere altså men

PS: bil er grisegøy!

Et lite annet spørsmål: Har du prøvd 37" på snø? er det bra eller er det 38" med 14-15" bred felg som er minstekrav til snøkjøring med patrol?

Litt hardere er det. Jeg har "medium" duty framme og heavy duty bak, og det er ikke så hardt. Tenker ikke noe videre over det når jeg kjører uten last, men disse bilene er jo i alle tilfelle mer komfy når du dytter 3-400 kg inni bak...

Men hvor høyt det blir i forhold til å sette på 37", tør jeg egentlig ikke si så mye om. Er rimelig sikker på at jeg får plass på min uten å kjøre vinkelsliper, men den er litt høyere, og akslingene er også flyttet en cm eller tre mot senter på hjulbuen. Og spesielt framme har jo hjulbuen endret seg litt når jeg satte på ny støtfanger, da denne har en litt mer åpen vinkel i forkant av hjulet. Legger muligens på en større spacer på radiusarmen om jeg går opp på 37".

Når det gjelder snøkjøring tror jeg nesten du må ta en prat med Roger. Han har litt mer erfaring på dette punktet enn meg. Men det er STOR forskjell på 38x14,5 og en 37x12,5! Du kan sikkert få nesten dobbelt så stor anleggsflate på førstnevnte. Men skal du ut i halvannen meter med løssnø tror jeg det er bare belter som duger. Patrolen er TUNG Men pakket snø kan være en helt annen sak...

Nå er det vel snart på tide med en liten visning av vidunderet vi må jo få til en liten Nissan4x4.no samling snart, du har jo gjort en kjempe jobb på bilen din , så det blir gøy å se resultatet, har du vurdert noe mer skjerm bredere til bilen?
så det var biletter for ca 1800 kr tur retur Island , så da lønner det seg jo nesten å hente de selv snart.

Kjenner det kribler litt etter å komme seg ut å leke litt med likesinnede... Treff ja! Vi får se hva vi får booket inn utover våren. Det har jo vært litt stille fra denne kanten en liten periode, men nå begynner jeg å få kontroll på et par utfordringer som jeg har kranglet litt med i det siste. Spurte jo i en tråd her for en tid tilbake om råd ang ulyder i drivverket, og nå mener jeg å ha ting under kontroll. Var ikke helt plankekjøring-diagnose, og det var forsåvidt heller ikke bare en feil.

Den værste ulyden ble lokalisert til fremre diff, som raste som følge av Nissans forp...-fri- helv... -hjulsnav, som ikke har løst skikkelig ut (joda, jeg har lest bruksanvisningen, tenk...). Dette har igjen tatt knekken på diffen. Men som alle vet, det er sjelden at noe er så galt at det ikke er godt for noe, så nå er en ARB diff lock montert. Ha! Og frihjulsnavene er byttet til manuelle AVM nav.

Men det er jo ikke nok med bare en ting som tar kvelden. Samtidig fikk jeg problemer med ulyd og vibrasjon fra converteren (når den låser/slipper) i automatkassa. Har kranglet litt frem og tilbake med Nissan om dette, og de påstår at dette løser seg selv med et tilsetningsstoff i automatoljen. Makan til vås... Tror det rett og slett blir skifting av hele greia, og så får jeg heller krangle videre med Nissan og hevde 5 år garanti etter kjøpslov (har 3 mnd igjen..). Gidder ikke å maskere symptomene for en kort periode og så bryter hele greia sammen langt pokker uten for allfarvei..

Når det gjelder skjermer har jeg ikke hatt tid til å undersøke så mye enda. Har fått tak i et par telefonnummer til folk på island som jeg tenker å kontakte, og så får vi se hva som skjer. Aller først blir det fokus på å snekre litt skuffer og lagringsplass i lasterommet nå til påske. Skal prøve å få dokumentert litt.

1800,- til Island, sier du. Hmm.. Det er jo nesten så det nærmer seg prisen for frakt av skjermer pluss kronhjul/pinjong....

Godtfolk!

Som colormax har nevnt i et annet innlegg på forumet er det litt vel stille her om dagen. Regner med det betyr at alle sammen ligger ute under bilen og mekker (evt kjører) i det fine maiværet. Og om dette er tilfelle er det alltid fint med litt dokumentasjon for andre interesserte og Nissan-medsammensvorne. Ballen er herved kastet....

Og siden jeg oppfordrer, er det vel rett og rimelig at jeg bidrar litt selv også. Har siste tiden fått på plass et par ting og tang for komfort og fremkommelighet. Første post på programmet var å fikse et forlenget dog-bone som viste seg å ikke tåle belastningen, og løsningen var å modifisere et av de frakoblbare som fulgte med hevesettet. Dette passet i utgangspunktet ikke på vår norske utgave (såvidt jeg kunne skjønne i hvert fall..), så det ble kappet til passe lengde og og dreiet til en "pin/bolt-ende". Regner med at denne skal holde.

Ellers så har jeg omsider fått satt inn air locker'en i fremakslingen. Bestemte meg får å sette ut den jobben grunnet potensielle konsekvenser ved evt fu..up som følge av unøyaktighet. Har jo planer om at denne bilen skal kunne rulle en del tusen km uten umiddelbar tilgang på verksted. Montering utført av Bækken Offroad Service. Anbefales på det varmeste!

Har i denne sammenheng også lagt inn trykkluft i doningen, og denne er dimensjonert for å kunne håndtere både locker, dekkfylling og evt "små-og-søte" luftverktøy. Det aller siste punktet er mest for utprøving, men med en 20 liter (2x10) tank, og vel 100 psi, kjører jeg faktisk muttertrekker sånn rimelig greit. Helt som på verktstedet er det selvfølgelig ikke. Har anskaffet en Warn SLI til formålet - stor jævel som bråker værre.

Monteringen av selve kompressoren er midlertidig, da jeg ser for meg litt modifisering av lasterom utover sommeren. Luftankene er ennå ikke på plass, da det står igjen et par avklaringer på plassering. Blir fort litt trangt når man også tenker å sette av litt plass til ekstra fuel tank, og disse luftankene kommer ikke akkurat i et variert utvalg... De jeg prøver å få plassert nå er Warn's "hot dog" på 2,5 gallon (ca 10 liter, ca 55cm lang, 15-16 cm Ø).

Luftslanger er lagt langs hele skuta, med standard uttak i motorrom og bakerst i lasterom. Trykkluftsolenoiden til lockeren er montert på torpedoveggen. På bildene under ser man også batterikabel som nå benyttes for kompressor, men som egentlig er tiltenkt et gel batteri bak.
